48 HOUR FILM PROJECT: The 48 Hour Film Project is a wild and sleepless weekend of film-making. Texas filmmakers who have been accepted to be participants in the project have just two days — from Friday until Sunday — to write, shoot, and edit a short film. Teams battle it out for the title of "Best 48 Hour Film of Austin" and the right to represent the city in the national competition. The 2003 Tour will visit 12 cities throughout the world, with more than 300 teams competing. REEL WOMEN IS THE LOCAL SPONSOR FOR THE 48-HOUR FILM PROJECT
